A Miniature Marvel - How to Order

Our online shopping process couldn't be easier. Browse through our shop categories using the navigation on the left hand side. When you find a product you wish to purchase simply click the 'Add to Basket' button.

Shopping Cart

Once you have added a product to your shopping cart you can change the quantity you wish to purchase or you can remove a product from the shopping cart. Click on "Update Cart" after making amendments to the product. You may continue shopping by clicking "Continue" or buy the items in your cart by clicking "Checkout."

Step One: Calculate Shipping Costs

The first step of the checkout process is to calculate your shipping cost. This is done by selecting your region and whether you want your order insured or not. Then click 'Next Step' to move to step two.

Within the UK Insurance Included: All orders over £40.00 will be free of charge, except Dollhouses & Bases which will be charged at £15.00 per item. Our current posting and packing charges are calculated using the following prices.

*Please note that orders can be shipped uninsured but they will be sent at the customer's own risk. We will not be liable for replacements of lost or damaged goods.

Step Two: Choose a Payment Provider

In step two of the checkout process you will be shown a summary of your order including shipping charges. If you are happy with the total shown, simply select your payment method and then click "Next Step" and you will be automatically transferred to one of the following payment providers. If you wish to pay via cheque click here.

If you wish to pay by Credit or Debit Card please select WorldPay and follow the on screen instructions. WorldPay is a recognised secure online payment provider, backed by the Royal bank of Scotland. This will complete your purchase and a new page will confirm that your order has been placed.

Paypal payments are also accepted. If you wish to pay using your PayPal account select this option and then follow the on screen instructions.

Step Three: Order Complete

This will complete your purchase and a new page will confirm that your order has been placed. The order complete page will also give you your unique order reference number. Please either print this page or alternatively make a note of it and keep it safe. If enquiring about an order please quote this reference number in all correspondence.

Dispatch

Once you have paid for your order; it is automatically added into our order system. When your products have been shipped, you will receive an e-mail from us to let you know that your package is on its way to you.

Paying by Cheque (Step Three)

Complete your contact details and shipping address (if different) and then click 'Next Step'.

Paying by Cheque (Step Four)

Finally print your order and send it with a cheque made payable to 'A Miniature Marvel' to 79 Hollywood Lane, Wainscott, Rochester, ME3 8AT, England.

Returns Policy

In accordance with the European Distance Selling Regulations 2000 we offer you the right to cancel your purchase without specifying a reason, as long as it is within the cancellation period. The cancellation period expires 7 working days from the day after the day that you receive your goods.

Should you wish to exercise this right simply notify us at info@aminiaturemarvel.com and we shall refund your money within 30 days of receiving notification.

Please return all unwanted goods to our correspondence address (as detailed above) and kindly note that we reserve the right to make a deduction from the refund to cover the direct costs of collecting the goods if they have not been returned to us.

Returns Policy - Faulty Goods

In the unfortunate event that you receive faulty or damaged goods, a replacement or refund will be arranged, whichever you prefer. Please contact info@aminiaturemarvel.com and return the goods by mail (recorded delivery please) to our correspondence address (as detailed above.) We will refund your postage costs and arrange the replacement / refund within 14 days of receipt of the goods. Kindly note that in order for a refund of postage costs to be arranged, a postage receipt from the post office must be obtained.

Descriptions

Some of our products are handmade and unique. Descriptions of all our goods are for guidance only. There may be variation in colours, patterns and dimensions. We reserve the right to supply as near a replacement as possible should we not have the colour or item you require in stock.

Privacy

We never disclose customer information to third parties. We retain all information you provide for our administration purposes only. We will never use your personal details for marketing our web site unless you ask to be informed of any changes we may make to our site. The Conditions will be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of United Kingdom whose Courts will have exclusive jurisdiction in any dispute, save that we have the right, at our sole discretion, to commence and pursue proceedings in alternative jurisdictions.
